From Tampa to D.C., the 2025 NADIC Roadshow connected Watchbird to key defence hubs to build bridges, share insights, and grow our U.S. network. Together with 8 fellow Norwegian defense innovators and under the guidance of NADIC we’ve taken important first steps toward our U.S. market entry.

In partnership with NGO “Fritt Ukraina,” Watchbird® is donating SAFEgaiter™ to Ukrainian troops for field testing at the front.

Watchbird strengthens its team with three new hires: Torstein Bjorå as Technical Manager to enhance project management, Anette Idland as Laboratory Engineer to advance MOF-based research, and Axel Krabberød as Operational Manager to drive operational excellence and global growth. Watchbird® has signed a pivotal offset and collaboration agreement with the German defence supplier Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft mbH (FFG). The agreement represents a significant step forward in advancing WB´s groundbreaking Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) sensor project .
